Keystone Retaining Wall Note: The maximum recommended wall height for non-critical walls is 3 ft. for Compac Units and 4.5 ft. for Standard Units. Those maximum heights are determined by wall batter, soil loads affecting the walls, and site conditions including drainage conditions (see special notes for design conditions). Walls over 3 ft. high may require geogrid soil reinforcement and licensed engineering to meet municipal building codes.
